The journal will recognize that many disciplines - psychology, sociology, anthropology, economics, political science, history, and philosophy - have important contributions to make to the achievement of its goals, and the Editors welcome contributions from them. In the absence of any dominant paradigm, the journal will allow varied approaches to offer empirical research, theoretical and conceptual analyses, and reviews both qualitative and quantitative syntheses of high quality. Papers should be concerned primarily with teachers, teaching, or teacher education at whatever grade, level, or whatever subject-matter, at any stage of the teacher's career, that all submissions should be situated in an international context or address issues and questions of international concern. Please note that we do not accept manuscripts which focus solely on the psychometric properties of a research instrument. Papers should at a minimum discuss the findings of the instrument or its wider applications to be considered for TATE.
